Developmental cardiology is a medical discipline that uses modern biological technology to study the embryonic origin of heart disease. The Developmental Cardiology Center focuses on the mechanisms of cardiac development regulation and discusses their role in the pathogenesis of heart diseases such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmia. Furthermore, it conducts research around the three aspects of cause, mechanism, and prevention. The field of developmental cardiology occupies a pivotal position in the 21st-century medical discipline and is closely related to people's health. The continuous improvement and development of this discipline can greatly benefit mankind.
Our current research directions of focus are as follows:
1. Explore the mechanism and regulatory network of non-coding RNA in cardiac development and disease occurrence and development;
2. Study the correlation and molecular mechanism between changes in cardiac mitochondrial dynamics and cardiac development, disease occurrence, and development;
3. Research the molecular regulation mechanism of cardiomyocyte reprogramming.
